The Chiangmai Lamphun Golf Club 6808 yards,
18-hole championship course par72, is designed by
Dr. Sukhum Sukapanpotharam in its entirety the inspiration and
realization of a group of Thais who are committed to the preservation
of Northern Thailand's unique heritage. It was officially opened in
December 1990 by General Prem Tinsulanondha, Privy Councellor and
States Man It is very convenient to reach Chiang Mai, the capital of
the north. The course is ideally located just minutes from the center
of Chiang Mai. With newly finished highway No. 1317, it takes only 20
minutes from Chiang Mai International Airport. The club plays host to
many tourists and overseas visitors who are always welcome to enjoy the
course and facilities.
