Mae Hong Son Experience nature, tribal culture and society  To Mae Hong Son Experience nature, tribal culture and society Enjoy riding along the narrow mountain road to Mae Hong Son and take a marvellous view of undulating hills from the peaks. We make several stops at our visitors' most favorite places: the Lod cave through which a river runs, hot springs where you can take a superb dip, impressive National Park waterfalls and different hilltribes with their interesting traditional dresses as well as the "long neck" tribe which is world wide unique. We visit Mae Hong Son with its attractive Burmese style temples and its incomparable surroundings. 
We pick you up at 8:00 am. from your hotel in Chiang Mai by aircon car or minibus. After a half hour drive our first stop is an orchid and butterfly farm, where we can admire beautiful tropical orchids and butterflies. Then we continue one and a half hours to Huay Nam Dang National park. After a visit there we continue to the hot springs, Lod cave, fish cave and waterfalls for 30-40 minutes each. We stay overnight at a resort or hotel in Mae Hong Son 
After breakfast we head towards the elephant camp and take a one-hour elephant ride to a village where we change our transportation: we take a boat (about one hour) down to the Long Neck village near the Burmese border and stay 30-45 minutes visiting the Long Neck families. 
Return to the station by boat to continue the trip. Before leaving Mae Hong Son, we visit beautiful Burmese-style temples and stop for lunch. It takes us 6 hours to get back to Chiang Mai.
